Thrill seekers can enjoy a 30-minute ATV class with an experienced instructor and then a 30-minute guided tour
- Available vehicles: The vehicles that are available are 250cc ATVs.
- Where you’ll drive: There is a designated area for the training course in a dirt area in the Desert by Nellis Air Force Base. Participants will take a guided tour on paths that are led by an instructor in a single-file line overlooking the Nellis Air Force Base.
Age restrictions: Must be 18 or older.
It is a 30 minute first time riding training, and then a 30 minute ride time around the grounds.
- The class consists of a 30 minute orientation where participants learn the basics, such as:
- Steering and breaking
- Throttle control
- Physical Riding (how to shift body weight when maneuvering)
- How to start and stop the bike
- Being aware of the surroundings
- Riding in different weather conditions and on numerous surfaces
- Safety procedures and basic common sense rules of riding
